Abstract

Podcast technology greatly expands the opportunities for developing students’ listening and speaking skills, as opposed to the traditional way of teaching listening and speaking. When using various podcasts, students are encouraged to listen to speech of different timbre, tempo and intonation features, which gives a wider range of perception of information by ear and the development of listening skills. This article determines practical aspects of developing students’ listening and speaking skills through educational podcasts.
