Abstract

The article provides an analysis of existing volute conveyors. Their shortcomings are presented in detail when using them for transporting bulk fibrous materials. A schematic diagram and principle of operation of the recommended screw conveyor with a gravure working surface of the screw for transporting seeds and fibrous waste is given.
