Drum convective dryers are widely used in chemical production for drying lumpy, crystalline and granular materials, and are used for drying complex and simple fertilizers, phosphoric acid, colchedan in large tonnage production.

Abstract

Drum dryers include horizontal cylinder dryers with stationary or rotating bodies. In the first case, the internal device rotates together with the drum, which ensures mixing of the material, and in the second case, the device uses a special mixer. Depending on the heat supplied, drum dryers are divided into convective, contact and combined types.
